IBC Shell Packaging Creates the Chivas Regal 1.75 Holiday Cradle Package

The complicated substrate for Pernod-Ricard’s Chivas Regal Holiday package had to accommodate the weight of the 1.75 Liter product with the metallic glorifier cradle, and also reflect the unique graphic characteristics that the client desired for the overall package.
E-Flute combined with both a 10 pt solid bleached sulphate laminate plus a 1 mil Mylar film was the chosen substrate. The composite substrate was printed 7 colors plus a tinted satin varnish, plus a secondary hi-gloss patterned sealer. To achieve deflected light patterns as well as texture the substrate was treated with an overall micro-embossing.
